Backstreet Boys are an American pop group that has enjoyed enormous success in the mid-late 1990s and 2000s, including receiving several Grammy Award nominations. The now four-member group consists of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, and A.J. McLean; original member Kevin Richardson left the group on June 23, 2006.

Mika was born in Beirut, Lebanon, on 18 August 1983. He was trained by Alla Ardakov (Ablaberdyeva) a Russian opera professional and his public performances and jobs have varied from classical performances, writing in-flight music and creating an jingle. While he is rumoured to have a vocal range of five octaves, he actually claims that it is closer to three and a half octaves.

Luciano Pavarotti was born in Modena (Italy) on 12 October 1935. He became famous for the brilliance and beauty of his tone, especially into the upper register. “I think a life in music is a life beautifully spent and this is what I have devoted my life to”. He died on 6 September 2006.

Queen are an English rock band formed in 1970 in London by guitarist Brian May, singer Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor, with bassist John Deacon joining the following year. Queen rose to prominence during the 1970s and are one of Britain’s most successful bands of the past three decades. The band is noted for its musical diversity, multi-layered arrangements, vocal harmonies and incorporation of audience participation into their live performances.
